Workshop Stained Glass : First steps

Do you want to take your first steps in the craft of stained glass?
Studio bxlart organises beginner workshops on a regular basis.
During these workshops, you’ll learn the first steps in the magnificent craft of stained glass (lead came).
Besides a lot of knowledge and background information about the craft, you’ll go home proudly and satisfied with a self-made artwork of approximately 20x20cm.
No prior knowledge is required, but being a little bit handy helps
You can choose from several examples.
All necessary tools ( glass cutter, grinder, soldering iron,…) and materials (glass, lead, tin, …) are available in the studio.
A workshop takes about 4 hours and is conducted for small groups (3 persons). This way, you can enjoy optimal personal guidance in every step of the process.
A great idea to do with your friends, but also a great learning experience to do on your own. If possible, you can also join others and meet up with fellow creatives.

Important

Workshops only take place with a minimum of 2 participants.

Due to the use of lead participation is discouraged for children (< 15 year) and pregnant or breastfeeding women.

Cancellation Policy

Up to 10 days before the workshop
Cancellation is possible via e-mail.
Registration fee will be refunded 50%
Less than 10 days before the workshop
Cancellation is possible via e-mail.
Registration fees are non-refundable.
In addition to cancellation, it is possible to
have someone else take your place. The name of the replacement must be submitted by e-mail at least a day before the workshop.
In case of no show on the day of the workshop: Registration fee will not be refunded.
If the workshop is cancelled by
the organizer (for example due to too few participants), a new date proposed. If this new date does not suit you, the registration fee will be fully refunded.
Gift cards cannot be returned.
