Workshop Stained Glass : First steps

  • Do you want to take your first steps in the craft of stained glass?

    Studio bxlart organises beginner workshops on a regular basis. During these workshops, you’ll learn the first steps in the magnificent craft of traditional stained glass.

    You'll learn how prepare your design, to cut glass, to mount your window in lead came and solder it together.

    Besides a lot of knowledge and background information about the craft, you’ll go home proudly and satisfied with a self-made artwork of approximately 20x20cm.

    No prior knowledge is required, but being a little bit handy helps. You can choose from several designs.

    All necessary tools ( glass cutter, grinder, soldering iron,…) and materials (glass, lead, tin, …) are available in the studio.

    A workshop takes about 4 hours and is conducted for small groups (3 persons). This way, you can enjoy optimal personal guidance in every step of the process.

  • A great idea to do with your friends, but also a great learning experience to do on your own. If possible, you can also join others and meet up with fellow creatives.

Important

Workshops only take place with a minimum of 2 participants.

Due to the use of lead participation is discouraged for children (< 15 year) and pregnant or breastfeeding women.

Cancellation Policy

  • Up to 10 days before the workshop
    Cancellation is possible via e-mail.
    Registration fee will be refunded 50%
  • Less than 10 days before the workshop
    Cancellation is possible via e-mail.
    Registration fees are non-refundable.
  • In addition to cancellation, it is possible to
    have someone else take your place. The name of the replacement must be submitted by e-mail at least a day before the workshop.
  • In case of no show on the day of the workshop: Registration fee will not be refunded.
  • If the workshop is cancelled by
    the organizer     (for example due to too few participants), a new date proposed. If this new date does not suit you, the registration fee will be fully refunded.
  • Gift cards cannot be returned.
