Terms and Conditions – studio bxlart

These general terms and conditions apply to all transactions, services, and agreements with studio bxlart, located at Jubelfeestlaan 165, 1080 Molenbeek, registered in the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under number 0839181345. By placing an order or entering into an agreement, the customer acknowledges that they are aware of these terms and conditions and accept them without reservation.


For each agreement or order, the general terms and conditions applicable at that time on the website and available for consultation shall apply.


1. Quotes and orders

  • Quotes are non-binding and valid for 30 days, unless otherwise stated.
  • An order only becomes final after payment of the advance payment proposed in the quote.
  • The execution of the order will be scheduled after receipt of the advance payment by the customer within the payment term stated on the advance invoice.
  • Unless otherwise agreed, quotations for custom creations include two modifications to the designs delivered. Additional changes may give rise to additional costs, of which the customer will be informed in advance.

2. Delivery and Acceptance

  • Delivery times are indicative, unless expressly agreed otherwise. studio bxlart strives to respect these deadlines and will inform the customer in the event of delays. Delays can never give rise to compensation or termination of the agreement.
  • studio bxlart is not liable for delays due to force majeure, such as illness, strikes, power failures, material shortages, or the actions of third parties.
  • The customer undertakes to check the delivered goods or services immediately after delivery. Complaints are only valid if they are submitted in writing and substantiated within 8 calendar days of delivery and before the goods or services are used.
  • In the absence of a timely complaint, the work shall be deemed to have been accepted in full and without reservation.

3. Invoicing and payment

  • Invoices are payable no later than the due date stated on the invoice, by transfer to the specified account number. The standard term is 15 calendar days, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
  • Invoice protests must be made in writing within 5 working days of the invoice date.
  • If the customer is undergoing judicial reorganization, deliveries can only be made if full cash payment is made at the time of ordering.
  • In the event of late payment, a fixed compensation of 10% of the invoice amount shall be payable by operation of law and without notice of default, with a minimum of €50, plus default interest of 1% per month or part thereof.
  • studio bxlart reserves the right to refuse access to the order or to suspend the execution of the order as long as outstanding invoices (including any damages and interest) remain unpaid, or to terminate the agreement by operation of law.
  •  The ownership of delivered goods remains with studio bxlart until full payment of all amounts due.

4. Cancellation of workshops/courses

  • The following cancellation conditions apply to workshops and courses, as also stated on the product page:
  • Up to 10 days before the start: 50% refund of the registration fee.
  • Less than 10 days before the start or in case of no-show: no refund.
  • In case of illness or force majeure (with proof), a solution will be sought together, for example a voucher or participation at a later date.
  • Participants may transfer their registration to someone else, provided that the replacement is notified by email at least 1 day in advance.
  • In the event of cancellation of a workshop by studio bxlart (e.g. due to insufficient registrations), a new date will be proposed. If this does not suit, the registration fee will be refunded in full within 14 calendar days.

5. Webshop – Right of withdrawal and return policy

  • The customer has the right to withdraw from purchases made via the webshop within 14 calendar days of receiving the product, provided that the product is returned unused, complete, and in its original condition.
  • Gift vouchers, personalized products, and custom-made products are excluded from the right of withdrawal.
  • Color deviations in glass products cannot constitute grounds for withdrawal.
  • Return requests must be made in writing by email, stating the order number.
  • Return costs are always borne by the customer.
  • After correct receipt of the return package, the purchase amount will be refunded within 14 calendar days.


6. Intellectual property and confidentiality

  • All designs, sketches, cartoons, and documents remain the property of studio bxlart, unless otherwise agreed in writing. These must be returned upon request.
  • The customer acquires only a right of use for the agreed purpose and medium. It is prohibited to copy, reproduce, edit, distribute, or commercially exploit the work without the written consent of studio bxlart.
  • studio bxlart reserves the right to sign its work, mention it in credits, and use it for portfolio or promotional purposes, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
  • All information of any kind (including images, samples, creative content, financial and customer data) will be treated as strictly confidential and may not be shared without written permission, even after the termination of the collaboration.

7. Liability

  • studio bxlart provides services and products in accordance with generally accepted standards of care, skill, and diligence.
  • The risk and costs of transport and any insurance are borne by the customer, unless otherwise agreed or in the event of proven gross negligence or intent on the part of studio bxlart.
  • studio bxlart is only liable for direct damage that is the direct and necessary consequence of its gross negligence, serious error, or intent.
  • Indirect damage such as loss of profit, loss of customers, interest, or additional costs are explicitly excluded.
  • In any case, studio bxlart's liability is limited to the invoice amount of the order in question.

8. Early termination and suspension

  • In the event of suspension or cancellation of a project by the customer, costs already incurred (such as materials, labor, and wage costs) will be invoiced, plus compensation of 20% of the remaining amount of the order.
  • studio bxlart reserves the right to suspend or terminate orders in the following cases:
    • fraud, gross negligence, or breach of contract by the customer
    • non-payment of invoices
    • continuous force majeure lasting more than one month
    • bankruptcy or suspension of payments by the customer



All agreements are governed by Belgian law.

Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Brussels.
